With outstanding performance that envelops loose materialsand safely. It is widely adopted for loading and unloading operations in numerous industries such as irregular lumps, mixed scrap, and loose bulky materials.
Rotary Orange Peel Grab (with 360° Rotation Motor)： Widely used in docks, stockyards, and demolition sites. It allows on-the-spot adjustment of the gripping angle without the need to frequently move the excavator, resulting in higher efficiency. Ideal for frequent loading/unloading and multi-angle material picking.
Fixed Lotus Grab (without Rotation)： Simple structure, low maintenance cost. Suitable only for fixed-direction stockpiling and short-distance transfer of scrap steel within the yard. Commonly chosen by recycling plants with limited budgets.
Four-Tine vs Five-Tine： Four-Tine: Wider opening, suitable for bulky timber, large scrap steel, and giant boulders. Five-Tine: Stronger wrapping/enveloping capability, better at preventing loose materials such as fine scrap steel, mixed waste, and bulk debris from falling off.
Installation Procedure Excavator Orange Peel Grapple for Scrap Recycling :
1. Shut down machine, release pressure, and remove bucket.
2. Align and secure YTCT lotus grab with pins.
3. Route and connect 4 hydraulic hoses to auxiliary circuit or flow divider valve.
4. Purge air from cylinders and motor.
5. Operate the grab without loading anything.
6. Calibrate load pressure before starting to work with grab.
